Stone Mountain Christmas
We have season passes to Stone Mountain and didn't make it in December so we went their Christmas event the Saturday after New Year's. I thought it wouldn't be as crowded but I was wrong! There is a lot to do and it's pretty spread out so the crowds were only a problem for the gondola ride up to the top. We were hoping to be up there as the sun set but the line wasn't worth it. We went to the colonial farm area, watch the Ice Age 4D Christmas movie, saw their Snow Mountain tube runs, had dinner at a cute camping themed restaurant where the food came in cast iron skillets and the waitress tossed our (delicious) rolls to each of us, rode the train around the mountain as the sun went down, enjoyed all the beautifully lit buildings (the strings of lights went up and down all the walls), and let Luke get fried Oreos:)
