Hidden Fun
The boys and I found a new hike that starts by the dam, goes along the Chattahoochee, and wraps back up to the parking lot by Lake Lanier. There's a really pretty creek that runs along it that runs into the Chattahoochee. Josh and I were stopped on the trail waiting for Luke when we noticed what looked like water through some large mountain laurel bushes. We trekked back there and found a really neat waterfall. It was just running over the smooth rocks and made such a nice sound. Luke found some salamanders there too. We will add this one to our list of go-to hikes!
Finds from Diamond Hill Mine
Josh and Luke drove up to their favorite digging place in South Carolina on a warm February Saturday. We now have way too many rocks and crystals around the house...but they are pretty cool!
